This Ford Mustang GT Whipple single valve Plug and play catch can kit for the Whipple Supercharger is the perfect fit for your engine bay. This system will include UPR's Pro Series check valve to have a tighter seal while you are in boost. UPR Shorter Style CSS with the braided line will keep oil from splashing back into the intake tube at higher RPM
A catch can is a great addition for any engine, but supercharged Mustangs will benefit the most from their installation.
The factory Mustang Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) is designed to work on a naturally aspirated engine, but with additional boost from a supercharger, the factory setup may not suffice. UPR catch cans have a built-in check valve which prevents boost from opening the valve and allowing oil to be sucked back into the engine. The UPR system does this in addition to the regular benefits of a catch can, catching any atomized oil vapour from getting into the air intake system.
Preventing oil vapour from entering your engine intake helps engine life by preventing oil build-up in the intake manifold / supercharger and prevents the contamination of fuel with oil in the air, which reduces the octane of the fuel.
